Emily and Henrik have family living all over the world, from Canada to Australia. They wanted their wedding to be an celebration honoring those relationships, as well as their own, and chose New Orleans as the location for their intimate destination wedding. The couple dressed for the day with their family at the beautiful Audubon Cottages in the French Quarter, before heading to Audubon Park to say their vows beneath the sprawling branches of the Tree of Life. Emily honored her Chinese heritage with a traditional Chinese tea ceremony, before celebrating with drinks and dessert as the sun set. The party then headed back to the French Quarter where they second lined to their wedding dinner at Angeline.
It was a beautiful weekend, and I’m so happy I was there to witness it. Congratulations Emily + Henrik! May you have every happiness.
