Sometimes it doesn’t take a year of scrupulous planning to have the perfect wedding day. Cary called me a week before he and his fiance Erinne decided they would say “I Do” in New Orleans. I just had a couple hours with the happy couple but I think we made some magic. Scroll down to read more about the couple and see their vendor list.

Erinne and Cary are both known for their sense of humor, impulsiveness, and love of Bourbon — so an impromtu elopement in New Orleans on the final Saturday of Jazz Fest seemed like the perfect way to make their two-year relationship official.  Erinne, a TV comedy writer and Cary, an administrator for Los Angeles Unified School District, exchanged vows they wrote themselves in Jackson Square before their parents and friends attending Jazz Fest.  The group made their way through the streets of the French Quarter in a traditional second line procession to a luncheon at Galatoires, followed by a Taj Mahal concert at the House of Blues.  They plan to celebrate their marriage later this year with all their friends and family in Los Angeles, where they live.
