Layne and Macon were married in a gorgeous ceremony on the groom’s family land near St. Francisville, La. From the bride’s elegant lace gown, to the beautiful florals, and the stunning cedar backdrop Macon created for their vows beside the lake, every detail of the day was perfection. The couple prepared for the day on the property where Macon and his five siblings grew up. A lovely space dotted with rambling live oaks draped in spanish moss, iron arbors and shaded garden paths. The wedding party was shuttled to the ceremony space across the road by their childhood bus driver Mr. Cheese. A friend’s classic Impala, and a field of golden wildflowers made perfect settings for the couple’s portraits following the ceremony. Guests were then treated to an impressive culinary feast prepared by the groom’s brother and his catering company, before dancing the evening away to a live band. At the end of the festivities, Layne and Macon were showered with birdseed as they rowed away in a wooden canoe.
